She currently serves on the Carteret County Associate of Realtors Board of Directors and leads the project for Operation Christmas Child with Emerald Isle Baptist. Additionally, she plays a vital role on the board of The Coastal Carolina Center for Women's Ministries and volunteers with Little Pink Houses of Hope.

Meet Darcel, a true beach enthusiast who fell in love with the charm of the Crystal Coast and decided to make it her home. Originally from Florida, she's lived in various beach destinations around the world, from Hawaii and Puerto Rico to Italy. However, the allure of Emerald Isle brought her back in the 90s, and in 2018, Darcel, along with her husband Mike, daughter Lauren, and their lovable yellow lab Sunny, decided to put down roots in the area.
As an East Carolina University alumna with a background in banking and accounting, Darcel is a true professional with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. When she's not in the office, you'll often find her out on the water, enjoying boating adventures, or soaking up the sun at the beach with friends and family.
